Eyeball QSL Design Contest
I would like to make a challenge to the club. Each
year we have a special
“eyeball” QSL card. This year I would like to open up the design of that
card to the club. This year’s eyeball will be held in Hanover, PA about 20
minutes away from Gettysburg, PA and just north of the Mason-Dixon line.
Since this area is rich in civil war history, this years eyeball theme will
be the Civil War.
Here are the ground rules,
1.) Card must be standard QSL size 5 ½ by 3 1/2 .
2.) Must have the following information on it:
a. Aug 1,2,3 2008
b. 3905 Century Club Eyeball 2008
c. Hanover, PA
d. Standard QSL contact information
e. 3905 CCN Logo
f. A civil war theme in GOOD TASTE (Since this is a Civil War theme
the use of any Confederate Flag , is permissible. If this
should happen to offend someone please remember this is not the intention of
the 3905 CCN or the Eyeball Committee, It is a fact of history that this
flag was used in the 1860’s, just like the Union used Old Glory.) NO
POLICTICS AND NO DISCUSSION ON THIS MATTER…….

Deadline will be March 1, 2008 and the eyeball committee consisting of:

Will make the choice of the winning entry. The decision of the eyeball
committee is final.
There will be a prize for the person who submits the winning entry.
NOTE: The eyeball
committee reserves the right to make modifications to the winning design.
